Today in maths we have been solving 2 step problems involving money.

Today we have used the column method for addition to calculate the cost of objects. We enjoyed role playing shops and working out the cost of shopping.

Today we have been shop keepers in order to use our addition and subtraction skills that we have been learning.

Perhaps you could encourage your child by getting them to add up the shopping in your basket next time you are buying.
